Bright Energy Choices for Businesses

Does you business have a goal to be 100% renewable? We can help! Our Bright Energy Choices program allows businesses to purchase Renewable Energy Certificates, or REC's, to offset the portion of your electricity that comes from fossil fuels. This ensures your electrical purchases comes from 100% clean and carbon-free sources. Making clean energy purchases through RECs helps promote the development of future clean and renewable resources and demonstrates your support for our environment.

How much does it cost?

Energy usage is billed per killowatt-hour (KWh), and the Bright Energy Choices premium will be applied to the percentage of your actual energy purchases that come from fossil fuels. This will show up as a separate line item on your bill. The Bright Energy Choices premium for 2022 is $0.001, or one-tenth of one cent, per KWh.

Contact us if you are interested in participating. We can provide additional details related to the program and estimate the amount of REC's your business will need to purchase to be 100% renewable.

Commercial Maintenance Program

In partnership with Missouri River Energy Services (MRES), we can offer a multitude of maintenance services for your manufacturing business. Download the brochure to learn how you can take your maintenance program to the next level. Available services include:

  • Motor Testing
    • In today’s business environment, motor management and maintenance efforts are key to reducing manufacturing costs, increasing return on investments, and improving reliability.
  • Ultrasonic Inspection
    • Leaks in compressed air or vacuum systems, bearing vibrations, steam trap failures, and electrical arcing all create noise that cannot be heard by the human ear. These vibrations can be pinpointed and measured by MRES technicians using ultrasonic equipment.
  • Rapid Imaging
    • Using a high-speed camera and specialized software, technicians are able to detect movement of equipment and structures not visible to the human eye. Motion amplification software allows the user to measure the amount, direction, and velocity of movement within or between objects. This cutting edge technology addresses the root problem that leads to equipment failure.
  • Digital Infrared Inspections
    • High-definition infrared imaging is a proactive, non-contact, non-destructive method of detecting temperature variations in equipment. The digital images identify "hot spots" that are early indicators of problems.
