PUBLIC HEARING 

On proposed budget and utilities rate 

Changes for the year 2027 

Notice is hereby given that the Brookings Municipal Utilities Board shall meet at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, at the Municipal Utilities Building, 525 Western Avenue, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the utilities budget and changes in rates in electric, water and wastewater for 2027.  At the hearing the Board will present information concerning the proposed budget and rate changes and will have an opportunity to make a brief statement regarding the budget or rate changes. 

The City of Brookings is responsive to requests for communication aids and the need to provide appropriate access and will provide alternative formats and accessible locations consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
