BMU Scholarship Winners
May 22, 2026
Brookings Municipal Utilities has given away approximately $76,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors from Brookings High School. The BMU Board established the scholarship program in December 1991. Recipients who are awarded the $1,000 scholarships must meet the requirements established by the Utility Board. A selection committee from Brookings High School is responsible for selecting the winners. BMU has a vested interest in today’s youth and this is one way we can give back to our community by investing in our children’s futures. Our hope is that upon graduation they return to Brookings—a place they can call home. Congratulations to this years’ recipients—Clayton, Josiah and Olivia!
