Brookings Municipal Utilities Invites Community to Open House at New 34th Avenue Water Treatment Plant
Brookings, S.D.- Brookings Municipal Utilities is pleased to invite the public to our open house to celebrate the new 34th Avenue Water Treatment Plant located at 1230 34th Avenue on Tuesday, June 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This community event offers residents a behind-the-scenes look at BMU’s newest state-of-the-art facility, which delivers high-quality water to the Brookings community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the new water treatment plant and learn how BMU treats and delivers drinking water to its residents.
Light refreshments and cookies will be provided.
“This open house is a great opportunity for the community to see the investment being made in our water infrastructure and to better understand the process behind providing clean, reliable water,” said Eric Witt Water/Wastewater & Engineering Manager. “We’re excited to welcome residents and share this important milestone.”
